A warning that trespassers will not be allowed on Johnson's property without written permission, that no one may gather free fruit, and explaining the need for posting due to various reasons including "the impossibility of the Proprietor getting his pants on in time after the arrival of a raid," and his "desire to evangelize the human race." Johnson concludes with warning that persons stealing fruit will be taken to court, adding "remember what befel Adam and Eve."
